 The Isaac Meier Homestead is a large limestone dwelling located along Route 501 in Myerstown, easterm Lebanon County. What Meier did architecturally to the house, until his untimely death in 1770, is of prime significance for understanding the history and development of material culture in 18th century Pennsylvania. |

Attractions 
Fort Zellers was erected in 1745 by Heinrich and Christine Zellers. It is now owned privately and maintained in good condition. The Fort was built for protection to guard against attack by Indians. As such, the original windows are mere port holes. Many out buildings still cluster around this old landmark located on Fort Zeller’s Road in Newmanstown. It is reported that Mrs. Zellers oversaw the construction of the house, while her husband was out on an expedition.
